WAY LEADS ON TO WAY

A short sci-fi film by Ben Lyons (London Film School) I worked on in June 2022. It tells a story about Aldo, a young man who survived a massive solar flare that came upon the Earth in 2051 and is now working for the shelter facility provided by "The Brotherhood" where he is also staying, always watched by the ever-present AI called Peter that dictates every aspect of the facility subjects' lives. Aldo cannot help but question the rules that have been composing his life so far when the ghosts of the past start haunting his cell.

Above: sfx make-up for Peter - an old guardian robot which has been slowly falling apart over the years at "The Brotherhood" facility. Human textures can be seen fading away. The metal parts of the mechanism inside start to show through the skin.
