THE CRUCIBLE

Speak of the devil and he appears. A witch hunt is beginning in Salem. Raised to be seen and not heard, a group of young women suddenly find their words have a terrible power. As a climate of fear spreads through the community, private vendettas fuel public accusations and soon the truth itself is on trial.

I was covering on Crucible for about 3 weeks at the end of October. The prep was starting about 1.5h before the show and involved a lot of plaiting, hair extensions, clipped-on hair pieces and a few wigs.

Hairstyles for the ensamble (pictured below wih Erin Doherty as Abigail Williams) mainly focused around french and dutch plaiting, securing the hair away from the face and adding extensions to make the braids more voluminous.
